In today's world, design is one of the many important factors which help improve peoples lives both conveniently and efficiently. Everything that has ever been used by humans from mobile phones to books, televisions, CD's, clothes and furniture all have had to have the aspect of design applied to them to make them what they are today. With this in mind, designers are continuously creating concepts of design that can benefit humans in the world today by the mobility required to manage certain tasks becoming less and less.
With design being such an important role in today's world, countries such as Dubai and China have taken this into account and are creating concepts of design which people couldn't once imagine. This involves the creation of cities with a futuristic design that consist of economically friendly technology which help harmonise humanity and technology.
In order for countries to develop and adapt to the world, the work which designers do need to be understood by countries so that they can see what the future of design will look like. The countries can then apply this to their ideas and create concepts that are relative and beneficial to the world.
There is also the cultural factor which affects the aspect of design by nationality, ethnicity, language, beliefs and traditions being of major impact. The thought of historic design needs to also be considered when discussing graphic design because not every concept needs to be designed with the future in mind but instead with the past. Design can also promote cultural identity which is why people developing design-based skills is beneficial to both their society and themselves.
